Lip blushing is a cosmetic tattoo procedure that enhances and defines your lips. It can accentuate and even out natural color or add pigment to lips lacking color. Initially, your lips will appear darker and more like lipstick, but as they heal, they will soften to a subtle, natural-looking tint. With a touch of gloss or balm, your lips will be perfectly kissable!
Results vary between individuals, but after the initial session and a follow-up touch-up, lip blushing can last between 2-5 years. Additional touch-ups may be necessary depending on personal preferences and desired look. Unlike body art ink, permanent makeup ink is designed to be less long-lasting.
Expect moderate swelling, redness, and bruising for the first five days. To reduce swelling, apply a Ziploc bag filled with water and ice for no more than 15 minutes at a time. During the initial healing period, minimal scabbing or flaking may occur; do not pick at these, allowing them to fall off naturally. The color will lighten by up to 40% as healing completes. Note that color may appear uneven at different stages, but patience is key as the full results take time to develop.
Pain levels vary among individuals, but a strong medical-grade topical anesthetic cream is used before and during the procedure to minimize discomfort.
The entire procedure takes about 2 hours, with much of that time spent on consultation and preparation. After discussing your concerns and agreeing on a shape, numbing cream is applied for 20-30 minutes before starting. The non-toxic ink used is ingestible, though it may not taste pleasant.

Undergoing chemotherapy, pregnancy, or nursing.
Diabetes (Type 1 or 2).Under doctor’s care with concerns about the procedure.

Lip tattooing can trigger cold sores, affecting pigment retention. Clients prone to cold sores should take prescribed antiviral medication 48 hours before and after the procedure. If you have an outbreak or any skin irritation, reschedule your appointment.
Before the Treatment:
Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oils, vitamin E, niacin, and excessive alcohol 48 hours before and after the procedure.
Do not take prescription blood thinners 48 hours before and after the procedure.
Stop using vitamin A skincare products (Retin-A, retinols) around the enhancement area two weeks prior.
Avoid AHA (chemical exfoliation) skincare products near the area one week prior.
No laser or electrolysis treatments on or around the area one week prior.
No Botox or fillers in the procedure area less than one week prior.
Plan trips or events at least 14 days after the procedure.
Limit caffeine intake on the morning of your appointment.
Avoid chemical peels, dermabrasions, mesotherapy, or any intense treatments that cause skin irritation 3-4 weeks before the procedure.
If you've been on prescription Accutane, wait at least one year before the procedure.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds 30 days before and after the procedure.
Bring your favorite lip color if you have a specific shade in mind.

Microblading, also called Eyebrow Embroidery, falls under permanent makeup but is less invasive and considered semi-permanent compared to traditional cosmetic tattooing. The results usually last between 1-3 years, influenced by skin type and skincare routine. The process involves a hand tool with ultra-fine needles to etch individual 'hairs' into the skin, creating a natural and realistic appearance. Microblading can significantly correct or fully reconstruct lost eyebrows, making it ideal for those looking to enhance their brows or for individuals with sparse, thinning, or over-tweezed eyebrows. Pigments are chosen to match the natural or desired brow color, taking into account the skin tone.
The initial microblading session typically takes about 2.5-3 hours. During this appointment, the technician will shape and style the client's brows for approval, followed by selecting the pigment color. Once the client is satisfied, the procedure begins. A follow-up session is necessary after 4-6 weeks for any minor touch-ups. This second session lasts approximately 1.5-2 hours
Post-procedure, the eyebrow area may appear slightly red, and the color will look very dark, which is part of the healing process. The color will lighten by up to 40% as it heals. In the following days, slight scabbing may occur, and it is crucial not to pick at these scabs to avoid skin damage and affect the final result. It takes about 7-14 days for the brows to heal over, and about one month for the color to fully set in. Initially, the color will appear very light after the two-week mark, a stage known as the 'milk skin' phase, which is typical in tattooing as the tissue heals from the inside out. The true color will emerge once fully healed.
A touch-up session after 4-6 weeks is essential as everyone heals differently, and the outcome may vary. Some areas might not absorb the pigment fully during the first session and will need to be filled in. The pigment color might require adjustment, additional strokes can be added, and the brow thickness can be refined. Especially for those with oily skin, a deeper shade might be needed as the oils tend to lighten the pigment. This session ensures that the brows look perfect and the color is retained for the whole year.
Touch-up sessions should not be conducted earlier than 4 weeks after the initial session to allow the pigment to fully settle into the skin and to prevent scar damage, as the tissue needs time to heal completely.
The pain associated with microblading is generally considered mild to none. Before the procedure, a topical anesthetic is applied to numb the area, and it is reapplied as needed during the procedure. Pain perception varies among individuals; some describe the sensation as light cat scratches, while others feel nothing. The topical anesthetics used may contain lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine, and epinephrine. After the procedure, slight redness and swelling are normal, and the area may feel similar to a light sunburn. Clients can take Tylenol for discomfort but should avoid aspirin or ibuprofen.
Microblading pigments are not implanted as deeply into the skin as traditional tattoos, so the area will fade over time. The results typically last 1-3 years, depending on skin type, age, and skincare routine. Those who tan frequently or use products with AHA or Glycolic Acid may experience faster fading. To maintain fresh-looking brows, a touch-up is recommended every 12-18 months. Clients can let the area fade naturally, but a slight shadow may remain.Pre and Post Care InstructionsFor the best results, follow these pre and post-care guidelines:
Avoid alcohol, aspirin/ibuprofen, and any vitamins that may thin your blood for 72 hours.
Avoid tanning to assess your natural skin tone.
Refrain from using face scrubs or chemical peels for at least two weeks prior.
You may come with your brow makeup on for the technician to see your preferred look.
Reference pictures of desired brow shapes and colors are also helpful.
After the Procedure:
Within 2 hours, clean brows with a q-tip moistened with distilled or cooled boiled water, gently wipe away old healing balm and lymphatic liquid, pat dry, and reapply healing balm.
Apply a light layer of healing balm morning and night for at least 5-7 days.
Do not immerse the brow area in water for 14 days.
Avoid face area when showering and cleaning.
Avoid makeup on the brow area for at least 10 days to prevent infection.
Avoid alcohol, aspirin/ibuprofen, and any vitamins that may thin your blood for 24 hours.
Do not pick at scabs as it can affect the outcome and pigmentation.
Avoid swimming, tanning, or saunas for at least 14 days.
Refrain from face scrubs or chemical peels for at least 2 weeks after the procedure.

We ensure a safe session by using sterilized equipment and new needles in a sanitized environment. Following pre and post-care instructions minimizes risks or complications. While allergic reactions to pigments are rare, a patch test is recommended for those with high skin sensitivities or allergies to topical makeup products, gold, silver, nickel, or hair dyes. Patch tests should be performed 5-7 days prior to the procedure.
